Su-Mei is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in both publicly listed and early-stage companies. She has honed her expertise in high-growth environments, leveraging her strong communication skills, analytical acumen, and creative thinking to excel in fast-paced industries. Her extensive experience spans agriculture, carbon, mining, and biotechnology sectors.

Su-Mei is passionate about increasing value in the financing sector of the carbon farming space. She aims to empower farmers by providing independent advice and connections to financial institutions, corporations, and carbon developers. With her background in developing commercial business models, Su-Mei believes this can be achieved through trusted partnerships within the carbon farming network.

Su-Mei’s qualifications are BCom from UWA, CPA and GAICD of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bob Cowan

Managing Director

Bob has over 30 years of commercial, operational, supply chain, project and engineering management experience in the oil, gas, power and renewable energy industries. Through a successful senior management career with Wesfarmers, Woodside, Shell, Apache, Quadrant Energy and Santos, Bob has managed the concept development, commercial structuring, agreement negotiation, FID, start-up, operational and governance aspects of complex large-scale energy and infrastructure developments. This experience includes broad knowledge of carbon and energy transition related opportunities and challenges gained from the development of agricultural carbon offset, renewable energy and carbon sequestration projects. Bob has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Deirdre Clyne

Deirdre Clyne

Associate

Deirdre brings extensive experience in the commercial analysis and commercial management of energy projects and developments to Carbon Farming Partners and Carbon Farming Consulting. Her experience includes extensive energy experience working for large operating companies as well as junior explorer/producers.

Earlier in her career she spent ten years as a process engineer in facility design and operations, including five consulting to the UK North Sea oil industry. Her key strength is her ability to combine her process engineering knowledge and commercial experience to understand and analyse a wide range of complex issues and to derive maximum value from commercial arrangements.

Deirdre is an associate of Carbon Farming Partners and leads the analysis and provision of commercial advice for the development of carbon farming projects .

Raj Aggarwal

Director

Raj is an experienced commercial executive in the carbon offsets, renewable energy, broader infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Prior to co-founding CarbonTP, Raj worked with government utilities and private sector proponents to develop renewable energy strategy and financing for large scale renewable energy technology projects.

Raj has also served as CFO of Select Carbon and led the sale of Select Carbon to Shell. He has a deep understanding of the offsets market, carbon abatement and procurement strategies for offsets.

His work spans Australia, Asia and the Middle East including companies with operations in Africa.

Martin Lee

Our co-founder Martin has 30 years’ commercial experience in the international upstream oil and gas industry. In 2020 he completed a Masters in Renewable & Sustainable Energy at Murdoch University’s engineering faculty, building on his existing qualifications in Engineering and Economics.

He has extensive commercial experience in LNG, oil and gas exploration and development projects, M&A, business development and corporate strategy.

His strengths are in quickly focussing on the key parameters driving shareholder value in energy projects and business opportunities, and steering the process to maximise project and shareholder returns.

As a consultant, Martin has advised companies in Australia and the UK on asset evaluations, asset optimisation, field development planning, corporate strategy and planning, and commercial agreement structuring.
